Saturday, April 22nd, the school children will be celebrating Spring. The whole school will come together at 11am to celebrate Spring. This event is for student and staff only. 

We invite KBLS families and friends to join us after 11:30 in the cafeteria for a delicious luncheon Inga Lucāns and her helpers will be serving. Latvian pancakes- a favorite annual tradition – will be served! The lunch price will begin at $5 with crepes, toppings, fruit, sausages, milk, juice and dessert. Pancakes filled with meat, cheese, mushroom sauce or grey peas with bacon will also be available for an additional cost. 

The lunch team is looking for a few more helpers to make pancakes and help serve lunch, Please sign up via this new Sign Up Genius.

• April 29th KBLS School Board Meeting, 9:15AM – At least 1 parent from each KBLS family should plan to attend the meeting in the cafeteria.
• Please consider joining the school board- we will have 3 vacant positions.
• May 6th Latvian Folk Dancing Group Mantinieki Concert, 6pm at the Estonian House. For tickets, please contact Mantinieki@hotmail.com.
• May 13th is Graduation Day for the High School and 8th Grade Students! Everyone is invited to attend the ceremony at 11am followed by a luncheon hosted by the Graduates’ families. They are asking those who plan to stay for the luncheon to rsvp to the Evite so that they may have an accurate headcount.
