Skolas padome lūdz visām mūsu KBLS ģimenēm piestāt skolas ēdamzālē uz 30 minūtēm šo sestdien, 8. novembrī plkst. 1:00os pēcpusdienā pierakstīties uz skolas darbas grupām, kā arī pārrunāt svētkus.
Atbalsts un palīdzība no visam mūsu skolas ģimenēm ir nepieciešams. Gaidām jūs visus satikt šo sestdien pirms skola beidzās!
8. klases izbraukums un MOSI Egles pušķošana
8.klase no rīta brauks uz Akāciju kapiem pieminēt Leģionāru dienu. Vēlāk pēpusdienā viņi brauks uz MOSI muzeju puškot latviešu egli. Ja vēlaties piebiedroties lūdzam sazināties ar Viju Vīksni (310-850-6940 vai vijaviksne@gmail.com).
Pusdienas
Pusdienās būs desiņas, makaroni ar sieru, dārzeņi, un saldais ēdiens.
Valsts svētki 18. novembrī
18. novembrī skola sāksies plkst. 11:00os.
Bērniem būs stundas, mēģinājumi un pusdienas. Viņi tad piedalīsies 18. novembra aktā, kas sakās plkst. 2:00os. Pēc uzstāšanās, bērni ies sēdēt zālē ar skolotājiem. Bērnudārza, 1. un 2. klases bērni drīkst satikt vecākus un sēdēt ar viņiem.
VISIEM skolas bērniem ir jāģerbj skolas formās: Baltas blūzes/balti krekli ar tumšiem svārkiem/biksēm. NEDRĪKST vingrošanas kurpes. Ja ir kādi jautājumi par skolas formu, lūdzu prasiet klašu audzinātājiem.
28. oktobrī atrasto mantu kaudzē bija balts plastmasa maisiņš ar zaļu un sarkanu materiālu. Mēs esam uzzinājuši kam tas pieder, bet diemžēl, maisiņš kautkur aiztaigājis. Ja jūms zināms kur tas nokļuvis, lūdzu dotiet ziņu kblskola@gmail.com lai varam nogādāt tam, kam tas pieder.

There is a lot going on at KBLS this and next Saturday!
Parent Meeting Before School Ends
This Saturday, the School Board invites all KBLS families to stop by the lunch room for 30 mins at 1pm to talk about upcoming school events.
We really need the support and help of all our school families. We are waiting to see you all on Saturday before the school day ends.
8th Grade Field Trips
The 8th grade will be attending a memorial service at Acacia cemetery for Latvian veterans. Later in the afternoon, the 8th graders along with other volunteers will be going to MOSI to decorate the Latvian Christmas tree. If you would like to join the group to decorate the tree or have other questions, please contact Vija Viksne (310-850-6940, vijaviksne@gmail.com).
Lunch
This week hot dogs, mac & cheese, and desert will be served for lunch.
Latvian Independence Day Celebration November 18th
On November 18th School will start at 11:00am. Students will have class, rehearsal, and time for lunch. They will then attend the Independence Day Ceremony with Concert, which starts at 2:00pm. After the kids perform, they will return to the auditorium to sit with their teachers. There is an exception for Bērndārzs, 1st and 2nd graders – their parents can pick them up and the kids can sit with them for the rest of the event.
ALL kids need to dress in the school uniform: white blouses/shirts with dark skirts/pants/slacks. NO GYM SHOES allowed. If you have questions about the school uniform, please contact their homeroom teacher.
On October 28th, a white plastic bag with green/red material disappeared from the lost and found pile. We have found who this item belongs to and would appreciate that the bag reappeared, the same way it disappeared, so the item can be returned to the rightful owner.
