Sveicināti skolas ģimene,

Paldies Skolotājai Silvijai, Padomes loceklim Mārtiņam un 8.klases skolniecēm, kuri pagājušā sestdienā Aciacia kapos nolika ziedus un deklamēja dzejas Lāčplēša dienas atcerē.

Paldies Padomes loceklei Vijai, Bibliotekārei Ingai, 8.klases skolniecēm un vecāku palīgiem kuri izpušķoja Latvijas egli MOSI muzejā.

Šo sestdien:

Skola sāksies plkst. 11os. Skolniekiem būs stundas, mēģinājumi un pica pusdienās pirms 18. novembra akta. Viņi tad piedalīsies 18. novembra aktā, kas sāksies plkst. 2os.

Ja gadiena jus nejausi to panemat, ludzu to atliekat. Velamies atdot kam pieder.

Nākamās nedēļās:
25. novembrī nav skolas. Priecīgu Pateicības Dienu visām ģimenēm!
2. un 9. decembrī notiks Piparkūku cepšana
16. decembrī būs Ziemassvetku eglite

Dievs Svētī Latviju!

Redzamies sestdien!

Jūsu,

Krišjānis Barons

Dear school family,

Thank you to teacher Silvija, School Board Member Martins and the 8th grade students, who went to Acacia cemetery to lay flowers and read poems in remembrance of Lacplesis Day.

Thank you to School Board Member Vija, Librarian Inga, the 8th grade students and Parent helpers, who decorated the Latvian Christmas tree at MOSI.

This Saturday:

School will start at 11:00am. Students will have class, rehearsal, and pizza for lunch. Then they will perform in the Latvian Independence Day Event which starts at 2:00pm. Bērndārzs through 5th grade students will perform a folk dance and students from 6th-12th grades will be singing and reciting poetry.

The ceremony/concert will last approximately 1.5 hours. After the students perform they will sit with their teachers. There is an exception for Bērndarzs, 1st and 2nd graders: Their parents can pick them up in the school hall following their performance. The ceremony will go about an hour and a half.

ALL kids need to dress in the school uniform: white blouses/shirts and dark colored skirts/pants/slacks. NO GYM SHOES are allowed. If you have questions about the school uniform, please contact their homeroom teacher.

Still lost/not found:

On the 28th of October – a white plastic bag with green/red material disappeared from the lost and found pile. We have found who this item belongs to and would appreciate that the bag reappeared, the same way it disappeared, so the item can be returned to the rightful owner.

Looking ahead:

No school November 25th. Happy Thanksgiving!
December 2nd and 9th we will be making Piparkūkas (Latvian Christmas cookies) during
December 16th is the Christmas Celebration.

God Bless Latvia!

See you Saturday!

Yours,

Krišjānis Barons
